Karen Trickett is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership and marketing across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive and Co-Founder of Mighty Atoms and Co-Founder of WHEN LIFE CHANGES LTD, Karen specializes in providing fractional support and bereavement services. Previously, Karen held key positions including Non Executive Director at PAGAZZI LIGHTING (SERVICES) LIMITED, Vice Chair of the Board of Governors at The High School of Glasgow, and CEO at Newton Property Management Ltd. A former Chief Commercial Officer at Golden Charter Ltd, Karen led initiatives in sales, marketing, and digital platforms within the funeral care industry. With a strong background in creative marketing as CEO of Tangible, and previous roles at EHS Brann, Hasbro Europe, and Britvic Soft Drinks, Karen's career spans over two decades, underscoring a commitment to data-driven strategies and client relations. Karen holds a Joint MA Hons in French and Management Studies from the University of Aberdeen.

Mighty Atoms
Who exactly are Mighty Atoms and what do we do? We do anything to help businesses grow. It could be transitioning to or building a new e-commerce solution, developing a new product, lead generation, or customer acquisition. Our network and skillset allow us to use traditional marketing techniques such as positioning and branding or digital and technology solutions from SEO to CRM and because we've worked in several different sectors we're industry agnostic. Our customers are startups and small and medium businesses ranging from £5 million to £100 million turnover. We use a sophisticated tool to identify exactly what the business needs to do to grow (or accelerate), create realistic but challenging business cases that provide the confidence to invest, and then execute that plan with a flexible network of trusted specialist freelancers. So, what’s different about Mighty Atoms? Each project is run by a commercial leader with at least 20 years of experience in blue-chip businesses. Such as Pepsi, Starbucks, Pizza Express, Virgin, and Disney. We’ve also of course worked in SMEs and Startups.
