Gibson Tang

Gibson Tang has over 25 years of work experience. Gibson started their career in 1996 as a Senior Electronics Specialist at Republic of Singapore Navy. In 2003, they moved to Nexgen Studio as a Game Developer. In 2004, they joined NTUC Income as a .NET developer, developing ASP.NET applications using .NET and Javascript. In 2008, they founded Azukisoft Pte Ltd, providing cross-platform expertise and application and game development for the web, PC, and mobile platforms. In 2013, they joined gumi Asia Pte Ltd as a Senior Tech Consultant, helping the company to set up a technical team from scratch. In 2016, they became the CTO at A Better Florist, where they developed operational and customer-facing modules to enable the company to work at peak efficiency. In 2018, they took over outsourced development and grew the mobile engineering team at DishDash.co, re-architecting the custom build B2B e-commerce platform to support multiple cities in Australia. In 2021, they joined Lenskart.com as the SEA Engineering Lead, managing a team of 11 developers. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at Mighty Jaxx.

Gibson Tang obtained a Degree in Computer Science from Singapore Institute of Management between 2003 and 2005. In 2017, they completed a course on Ethereum: Decentralized Application Design & Development through Udemy. Between 1993 and 1996, they earned a Diploma in Information Technology from Nanyang Polytechnic. Gibson is also currently pursuing an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they are expected to obtain in August 2022.
