Hufriya Unwalla has three years of work experience. Hufriya began their career in 2018 as a Search Consultant and Research Associate at Exponent Global Consulting Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based boutique executive search firm. In 2021, they joined Shopee as a Tech People Team | Learning & Development and Commercial People Team | Recruitment & Talent Acquisition. Currently, they are employed as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Mighty Jaxx.

Hufriya Unwalla completed a Bachelor of Arts in Human Geography and Planning from The University of Western Australia between 2014 and 2017. Prior to this, they obtained GCE A Levels from Saint Andrew's Junior College in 2012-2013 and GCE O Levels from Crescent Girls' School in 2008-2011. In 2018, they also obtained a Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (CEI) from the Ministry of Manpower.
