Christian Høst-Madsen

Christian Hung is a highly experienced professional specializing in machine learning and economics. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at CoStar Group since 2024, Christian previously held the position of Applied Scientist at Uber from 2019 to 2023, where significant contributions included optimizing resource allocation and implementing machine learning models. Prior teaching experience includes roles as an Instructor of Economics at Miami University and various instructional positions at Vanderbilt University, complemented by research and analytical roles, including an Assistant Economist position at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Christian holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Northwestern University, a Master of Arts in Economics, and a Master's in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, as well as being a Ph.D. candidate at Vanderbilt University.
