Brooke Burton has a diverse professional background with experience in a range of industries. Brooke began their career in 2012 as a Research Assistant at the Vanderbilt Institute for Energy and the Environment. In 2013, they joined Teach For America as a Corps Member - Special Education and Noble Network of Charter Schools as a Learning Specialist & Professional Development Trainer. In 2016, they shifted to Albert | Learn By Doing as a Content & Digital Marketing professional. In 2019, they became a Product Management Intern at Grubhub. In 2021, they joined Elpha as an MBA Partnerships professional and Mighty Networks as a Product Manager. Brooke was later promoted to Senior Product Manager at Mighty Networks. In 2022, they were selected as a Fellow at Future Founders. Most recently, in 2020, they founded The People's Club.

Brooke Burton attended Vanderbilt University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, cum laude. In 2012, they attended Tel Aviv University. Brooke then attended National Louis University from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained a Learning Behavior Specialist I, Special Education and Teaching. In 2013, they obtained a Learning Behavior Specialist I certification from the Illinois State Board of Education. Finally, they attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration.
