Maya Worden has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they are currently working as a Marketing Manager and Customer Success Advocate for Mighty Networks. In 2019, they worked as a Research Collaborator for Santa Clara University, where they collaborated with Professor Laura Ellingson in writing a research paper to be published in Fall 2021. Maya also worked as an Administrative Assistant in the University Finance Office. Additionally, they worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Community Research Foundation in 2021, a Social Justice Advocacy Intern for the YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley in 2020, an Independent Researcher for the School for International Training in 2019, a Legislative Intern for the City of San Jose in 2019, and a Campaign Intern for State Representative Diana Dizoglio in 2016.
Maya Worden has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Communication from Santa Clara University, which they obtained in 2021. Maya attended Austin Preparatory High School from 2014 to 2017. In 2019, they began attending the School for International Training for International Studies and Multilateral Diplomacy in Geneva, Switzerland. In July 2020, they obtained a Certified Confidential Survivor Advocate certification from the YWCA Silicon Valley.
