Silja Elunurm

Silja Elunurm has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Silja is currently the Head of Regulatory and Legal at Migrevention, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded ePharmafy in 2021 and served as its Co-Founder.

Silja has also worked in the Ministry of Social Affairs of Estonia as the Head of Secondary Data Use in eHealth from March 2022 to December 2022. Before that, they were a Counselor in the same ministry from January 2021 to March 2022.

Earlier in their career, they worked as the Tegevjuht / CEO at NJORD Advokaadibüroo from October 2018 to January 2021. Silja also has experience as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Tartu from September 2014 to August 2019.

Silja worked as an Attorney-at-law / Partner at Law Firm Indela from September 2012 to September 2018 and as a Member of the Management Board at Teenusmajanduse Koda from March 2012 to February 2015.

Silja started their career as an Attorney-at-law, Head of IP/IT team at Law Firm Glikman & Partners from January 2006 to September 2012 and as an Attorney / advokaat at Law Firm Aivar Pilv from January 2004 to January 2006.

Silja Elunurm began their academic journey in 1998 when they enrolled at the University of Tartu, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree in Eraõigus / Civil law. Silja successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2002.

Following their undergraduate studies, Silja Elunurm furthered their education by attending the University of Amsterdam from 2006 to 2007. During their time there, they specialized in European Copyright Law and earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree.

In pursuit of their passion for healthcare technology, Silja Elunurm returned to academia and in 2020 commenced a Master of Science (MS) program at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology. This program focuses on Health Care Technology and is expected to be completed by 2022.

Overall, Silja Elunurm's education history encompasses a Bachelor's degree in Civil law from the University of Tartu, a Master of Laws degree in European Copyright Law from the University of Amsterdam, and they are currently working towards a Master of Science degree in Health Care Technology from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
