Max Nolte

Max Nolte is a Lead Developer and Data Scientist at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund since August 2021, where responsibilities include managing a team specializing in personalization, CRM, and recommendation systems. Previously, Max served as a Data Scientist, developing a recommender system that generated coupons for over 2 million Swiss households. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Scientist focused on machine learning and neuroscience at INAIT SA, and extensive research at EPFL, where work involved simulating biological neuronal networks and publishing in prestigious journals like Nature Communications and Cell. Max holds a PhD in Neuroscience from EPFL and a Master's degree in Computational Physics from The University of Edinburgh, complemented by an exchange year at the University of Washington.
