Matthias Glatthaar

Matthias Glatthaar is the Head of Data Privacy and Group Data Protection Officer at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund, where responsibilities include managing the group's privacy compliance program and its associated functions. In addition, Matthias serves as President and Board Member of VUD - Verein Unternehmens-Datenschutz, the leading association for Swiss data protection officers, and co-President of Privacy Icons, which promotes transparent privacy notices. Previously, Matthias held positions as Senior Legal Counsel at TX Group AG and Senior Associate at VISCHER AG, focusing on corporate transactions and data privacy issues. Matthias holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and a Doctor of Law from the University of St. Gallen.
