Nuno Esteves

Nuno Esteves, PE, CEng is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development within the construction sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of R&D for Engineered Product Technology at MiTek since March 2021, Nuno leads a team focused on creating innovative solutions for sustainable building construction. Previously, Nuno held various leadership positions at MiTek, including Director of R&D for New Solution Development and Director of Engineering for Global Building Systems Technology. Prior roles include Director of Specialty Engineering at SidePlate Systems, Senior Project Manager, and Senior Structural Engineer at AKT II, among others. Nuno’s academic background includes multiple advanced degrees in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering from prestigious institutions, including Universidade de Coimbra and Instituto Superior Técnico.
