Omar Thoqir

Omar Thoqir is a seasoned Senior Software Product Manager and Structural Engineer currently employed at MiTek since August 2019, where various roles have included Software Product Manager, Product Owner, and Assistant Product Owner. Prior experience includes serving as a Structural Engineer at Wolf System GmbH from June 2018 to July 2019, providing vital technical information regarding Eurocodes and British standards. Additionally, Omar worked as an EU Research and Development Engineer at Simpson Strong-Tie from September 2015 to November 2017, leading multidisciplinary projects from design conception through to technical sign-off. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering with Architecture, both obtained from Coventry University.
