Tim Furst

Tim Furst, PMP, EE, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project and program management within the medical and scientific instrumentation sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of PMO/R&D at MiTek since March 2024, Tim previously held leadership roles at Anton Paar as the Director of Research Development, where contributions to laboratory material characterization instrumentation were significant. Prior positions include Director of PMO Programs at BD, where best practices in program management were developed, and Director of Project Management at Medtronic, overseeing multiple PMOs focused on medical device development. Earlier career experience includes serving as Senior Product Development Program Manager at Philips, specializing in electronic circuitry for medical imaging equipment. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Akron, an MBA from Tiffin University, and an Advanced Program Leadership Certificate from Stanford University.
