Cathelijn van Baar

Cathelijn van Baar currently serves as a Promovenda at Academische Werkplaats Ouderen, Tilburg University since May 2023. Simultaneously, Mijzo employs Cathelijn van Baar as project leader and policy advisor for its Kloosterhoeve location, focusing on transforming the center into an official Target Group Expertise Center for Huntington's disease. Previous roles include Team Coach at Volckaert, where Cathelijn van Baar guided a team of 30 in improving care quality, and Manager of the Voortplantingscentrum at Erasmus MC, overseeing a team and managing projects. As a co-founder of Platform 51, Cathelijn van Baar aimed to innovate child healthcare, while at CJG Rijnmond, strategic policy development and advising municipalities on youth issues were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes team coordination and public health nursing at GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond. Cathelijn van Baar holds a Master of Science in Nursing Science from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
