James Powell

James Powell, MPH is a seasoned Quality Assurance professional with extensive experience in microbiology and quality systems. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance Team Leader at Mikart, LLC since March 2011, James oversees the QA associates within the packaging facility, ensuring robust QA coverage for oral dosage medication production. Previous roles at Mikart included QA Coordinator and Senior QA Specialist, where responsibilities spanned the development of microbiology programs and oversight of environmental monitoring initiatives. James's experience also includes positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Student Intern/ORISE Fellow, Becton and Dickinson as a Microbiologist/Lab Technician, Analytical Services as a Microbiologist, and Tyson Foods, Inc. as Microbiologist IV. James holds a Master of Public Health from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas.
