Jonathan Mello has extensive work experience, beginning in 2007 when they were a Human Resources Assistant at the U.S. Naval War College. In 2010, they moved to IDC, Inc. | The Newport Experience as the Director of Training, where they created a comprehensive recruiting and training program for a fine dining restaurant. In 2011, they became the General Manager of Alice's Tea Cup. In 2014, they took on the roles of Server and In-Store Trainer at CAFETERIA. In 2015, they became the Bookkeeper and Multi-Unit General Manager of Alice's Tea Cup. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Financial Operations Manager at Mike's Hot Honey.

Jonathan Mello received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish Language Teacher Education from Providence College in 2009. From 2011 to 2014, they attended William Esper Studio for Meisner-Based Actor Training.
