Michael D. Kurtz

Michael D. Kurtz has a long and varied work experience. Michael D. began their career in 2005 with Putumayo World Music as an A&R Consultant, A&R and Production Coordinator, and Alt. Sales Account Executive. In 2008, they co-founded LongJaunt and served as a World Traveler. In 2009, they became a Music Supervisor for Caipirinha Productions. In 2010, they were a Music Supervisor for HHW, a Pizzaiolo for Paulie Gee's, and the Founder of Mike's Hot Honey.

Michael D. Kurtz began their educational journey at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2001 to 2002. Michael D. then moved on to the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2002 to 2005, where they studied Musicology and Ethnomusicology. During this time, they also studied Music Theirtory, Literature, and Theory at Universidade Católica do Salvador from 2003 to 2004, as well as Portuguese Language and Literature at Universidade Federal da Bahia from 2003 to 2004.
