Jesse Farebrother

Jesse Farebrother is currently a Research Scientist Intern at Meta since June 2024 and simultaneously pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at McGill University, where studies commenced in 2022. Prior to this role, Jesse served as a Student Researcher at Google DeepMind from July 2023 to June 2024 and at Google from January 2022 to June 2023. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant position at the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute from September 2017 to August 2020, under the guidance of Marlos C. Machado and Michael Bowling, as well as a Research Intern role at Mila from May to August 2019, supervised by Marc G. Bellemare and Aaron Courville. Jesse earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from McGill University in 2022 and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alberta, graduating in 2021.
