Tegan Maharaj

Tegan Maharaj is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto since July 2021 and a PhD student at MILA (Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms) since January 2016. Previous experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Research Intern at iPerceptions from June 2014 to April 2015, where research focused on supervised and semi-supervised methods for customer intent modeling and digital marketing data analysis. Tegan also served as a Student Technician at Bishop's ITS Helpdesk from September 2009 to May 2014, providing technical support and training for hardware and software issues. Tegan holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Bachelor's Degrees in Biology and Environmental Science, all from Bishop's University.
