Alex Liang

Alex Liang is the current Director at Mila. Alex has over fifteen years of experience in the mobile internet industry. Liang has a successful track record in both startup companies and large organizations.

Liang's first foray into the mobile internet industry was with Pacnet where they served as Vice President from March 2003 to September 2005. Alex then went on to become the Founder and CEO of PICA Mobile from September 2005 to March 2011. PICA Mobile was China's leading provider of mobile Internet technologies and services during Liang's tenure. In March 2011, Liang left PICA Mobile to join SAIF Partners as a Venture Partner. At SAIF Partners, Liang was responsible for making investments in private companies in China or in US with a China angel. Alex stayed with SAIF Partners until May 2015 when they took their current position at Mila.

Liang has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Alex Liang graduated with a Master of Science in Computer Networking from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Alex also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Communications from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
