Andrew Wilkins

Andrew Wilkins is a technology executive with experience in both the public and private sectors. Andrew is currently the CTO at Mila, a startup that provides a social intra/extranet for businesses. Prior to joining Mila, Wilkins was the co-founder and CTO of YouTect, a software company that designed and delivered an advanced collaborative workplace SaaS. YouTect's product was used in multiple hotels, NGOs, and universities across EMEA.

Before YouTect, Wilkins worked as a business analyst and VBA developer at Barclays and as a consultant at IBM. In 2020, they joined Hyperion Insurance Group as their lead engineer and CTO. In this role, they transformed a struggling internal start-up by leading the product to its true MVP and on to scale-up to work with clients such as Google and LG. Andrew also identified and delivered key pivots to unlock new revenue streams.

At Mila, Wilkins is responsible for leading the engineering team and designing the technical roadmap. Andrew also manages budgets and supplier relationships. In addition to their work at Mila, Wilkins is also an active advisor and coach for businesses on technical and commercial strategy.

Andrew Wilkins completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business at Aston University.
