Safwan al Muhtaseb

Safwan Al Muhtaseb is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as Manager of Client Relationship, Development, and Operations at Milaha since April 2018. Safwan transitioned from Operations Manager for Halul offshore services, contributing to the QP Oil and Gas industry In-Country Value Project. Prior roles at Milaha included Fleet Manager and Fleet and Technical Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing container and bulk carrier fleets, crew recruitment, vessel maintenance, and compliance with maritime laws. Earlier career experiences include positions as Marine Master and Port Captain at Qatar National Navigation & Transport Co. Ltd., and extensive maritime leadership roles across various ship management companies. Safwan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marine Science from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
