Shannon Arant has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 1999, Shannon worked as an Electrician and Office Assistant at Buena Vista Construction Co., where they assisted the Electrical Superintendent and Estimator. From there, Shannon joined Olson Electric as a Foreman and Service Technician, responsible for electrical construction and service work in commercial and industrial settings. In 2002, Shannon transitioned to Walt Disney World as a Ride and Show Technician, maintaining virtual reality games and rides, computer hardware/software, and various equipment.
Shannon then moved to Infrared Services, Inc. in 2003, working as an Infrared Thermographer, inspecting electrical systems and building envelopes in different environments. At The Snell Group from 2005 to 2008, Shannon served as a Predictive Maintenance Analyst, analyzing asset health and conducting various predictive maintenance assessments.
In 2009, Shannon joined the City of Tampa as an Electrical/Instrumentation Technician I, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems. Shannon's role involved inspecting power distribution systems and identifying and repairing electrical faults.
From 2011 to 2015, Shannon worked at Dura-Cast Products, Inc. as a Design, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineer. In this role, Shannon was involved in the manufacturing, product design and development, and CAD modeling of rotationally-molded plastic products.
In 2015, Shannon transitioned to Forte Products as a Design Engineer, a role they held until 2019. During this time, Shannon was responsible for product design and played a key role in various projects.
Currently, Shannon Arant works as an Engineering Manager at Forte Products since 2019. In this role, Shannon oversees engineering operations and leads a team of engineers.
In 2023, Shannon is set to join Milbank | Energy at Work as an Engineering Manager.
Shannon Arant completed an Associate's Degree in Engineering from Polk State College in the years 2006 to 2008. They then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of South Florida, which was obtained between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, Shannon attained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering Management from the same university, completing their studies in 2011 and 2012.
