Gurbir Grewal

Gurbir Grewal is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Milbank LLP since October 2024. Prior to this role, Grewal was the Director of the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from July 2021 to October 2024. Grewal also served as the Attorney General of New Jersey from January 2018 to July 2021 and held the position of Bergen County Prosecutor from January 2016 to January 2018. Earlier experience includes a tenure at the United States Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey, where Grewal advanced from Assistant U.S. Attorney to Chief of the Economic Crimes Unit. Grewal earned a Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
