Olivier Schietse has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Olivier started at Accenture as an Analyst from September 2004 to August 2006, and then advanced to become a Consultant from September 2006 to March 2009. Olivier then joined AstraZeneca as a Business Finance Partner from April 2009 to December 2010, and later served as the European Commercial Supply Chain Manager from January 2011 to July 2012. Olivier then pursued an MBA at INSEAD from August 2012 to July 2013. Following their MBA, they interned at Blue Fount as part of a Private Equity internship from August 2013 to November 2013. Olivier then joined Abbott, where they held various positions, starting as the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for EMEA from December 2013 to June 2017. Olivier then served as the Regional Controller Southern Europe & Global Strategic Accounts from July 2017 to April 2020. Most recently, they took on the role of Margin Improvement Program - EMEA Lead from April 2020 to the present time. In addition to their current position at Milcobel as the Strategy & Finance Director, they are also a Non Executive Board Member at Terre de fromages from May 2023 onwards.
Olivier Schietse obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from INSEAD in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in Master of Arts in Sciences of Management from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management from 1999 to 2004. Olivier also participated in an exchange semester at the Universidad de 'San Andrés' in Argentina in 2003. Olivier's secondary school education was completed at Sint-Barbara College from 1992 to 1999.
