Cherie Lyons

Cherie Lyons has a diverse career spanning several decades in education and community service. Currently serving as a Practitioner at Mile Hi Church since 2016, Cherie utilizes affirmative prayer to assist individuals in overcoming challenges and achieving goals. Prior to this role, Cherie was a Principal Consultant at McREL from 2004 to 2011, focusing on educational leadership training. Cherie's extensive experience includes over 30 years at Jefferson County Public Schools, where roles included Executive Director of Planning, Research, and Resource Development, school principal, and teacher. Cherie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership and Educational Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master’s degree in Curriculum Design from the University of Colorado Denver. Since 2011, Cherie has been retired, engaging in reading, writing, swimming, and volunteering.
