Special Assistant To The CEO at Mile High Behavioral Healthcare

Candy Larue is an experienced professional in conference coordination and operational support within the nonprofit sector, currently serving as the Special Assistant to the CEO at Mile High Behavioral Healthcare since May 2017. In this role, Candy ensures the smooth operation of day-to-day activities and addresses issues at various service locations. Previously, from December 2012 to November 2016, Candy was the Conference Coordinator for the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN), managing global conference planning and logistics for child welfare professionals. As a Meeting Planner at the American Humane Association from August 2005 to January 2012, Candy was responsible for strategic planning and execution of events across North America. Candy began professional endeavors as a Development Associate with the American Lung Association, where responsibilities included managing the donor database and co-chairing fundraising initiatives. Educated with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Humboldt State University, Candy brings a wealth of experience in event management and operational efficiency to the field.
