Mile High Flood District
Haley Koesters, PE, is a Project Engineer at Mile High Flood District since February 2022, with extensive experience in hydraulic engineering and project management. Previously, Koesters worked at Kiewit as a Hydraulic Engineer and Deputy Project Manager, where responsibilities included performing hydraulic design analysis and contributing to federal transportation and fish passage design-build projects. A Senior Staff Engineer at Geosyntec Consultants, Koesters was involved in water resources and remediation, managing environmental sampling and hydraulic modeling, and providing regulatory support. Additional roles include Watershed Planning Engineer for the City of Bellevue, research assistant positions at the University of Arizona and the University of Iowa, and internships focused on water resources. Koesters holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona and an M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington.
