Karen Dekker

Karen Dekker serves as the Content Marketing Manager at Mile High United Way since February 2022. In addition to this role, Karen has been a Volleyball Coach for Elevation Volleyball Club since August 2018, holding various positions such as Assistant Coach for the 14 Peak team and Head Coach for the 13 Timberline and 14 Ascent teams. Previous experience includes roles as E-commerce Coordinator at Master Magnetics, Assistant Store Manager at J.Crew, and Communications Assistant at USA Volleyball. Recognized for superior reporting at GateHouse Media, Karen received multiple awards for editorial excellence, public service reporting, and social media use. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Creative Writing, and Psychology from Hope College. Karen is also IMPACT & Safesport Certified through USA Volleyball.
