Roweena Naidoo has a diverse work experience with various organizations spanning from 2010 to the present. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Policy and Community Initiatives at Mile High United Way. Previously, they served as the Vice President, Policy and Impact Investing as well as the Director of the Self-Sufficiency Initiative and Director of Policy & Economic Success at the same organization. Additionally, they have held roles such as Senior Director, Policy and Impact Investing and Board Member at Mile High United Way.
Roweena has also worked as the Executive Director at The Blossom Project and as a Board Member at Women's Lobby of Colorado, The Gathering Place, and Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. Earlier in their career, they served as the Program Director at IGNITE Colorado and as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at New Era Colorado.
Roweena Naidoo has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Baruch College. Roweena also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with Honors from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Prior to their university education, Roweena attended Raisethorpe High School. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in "Gemba Kaizen: A Commonsense Approach to Continuous Improvement" from LinkedIn in 2020 and was certified as a Blossom Project Ambassador by The Blossom Project in 2017.
