Uwe Alvaro Kessel is a seasoned commercial manager with extensive experience in strategic planning, financial oversight, and operational management across various industries, including food and consumer goods. Currently serving as Commercial Manager at MILEI GmbH since February 2018, Uwe previously held the position of Market Director at Kelsen Group A/S, where responsibilities included managing markets across Africa, the Middle East, Russia, and US distributors, as well as developing marketing campaigns and negotiating contracts. Uwe's career at Parmalat spanned over 19 years, where roles included Head of Export and Business Manager, focusing on export strategies, distributor management, and trade negotiations in multiple African markets. Uwe’s professional journey began as a graduate trainee at Unilever South Africa, leading to diverse roles that enriched expertise in marketing, sales, and category management. Uwe holds a Bachelor's of Commerce in Industrial and Organisational Psychology and an Honours degree in Business Administration.
