Carolina Melo is a freelance translator and proofreader with extensive experience in translating and proofreading technical texts from English, German, and Spanish into European Portuguese. Since September 2005, Carolina has worked on diverse projects, including software and hardware manuals, game and app localization, medical device documentation, home appliances documentation, and medication package inserts. Current roles include subtitler at Pixelogic Media and translator for several companies such as The Translation People, Milengo, Consenso Global, Lda., tolingo GmbH, TransPerfect, Hogarth, Chrono24, and zappmedia GmbH. Carolina holds a post-graduation in Translation and a degree in Modern Languages and Literature from Universidade do Porto, along with educational experience at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
