Matthew Nikkinen

Matthew Nikkinen is an experienced professional in the environmental contracting and remediation fields, currently serving as the Director of Special Projects at Milestone Environmental Contracting Inc. since November 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew held various leadership positions at QM Environmental, including Vice President of Remediation and Regional Manager for Western Canada, from March 2020 to August 2022. Matthew's extensive career at Tervita Corporation spanned from 2001 to July 2019, where roles included Director of Projects and Regional Manager for Atlantic Canada. Earlier experience includes project coordination and sales roles at Axis Projects Inc. and Arc'teryx Equipment, respectively. Matthew's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from McMaster University and studies at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
