Martin Smith

Martin Smith is the Design Manager at Milestone Infrastructure, overseeing a technical team of 35 staff dedicated to delivering highway asset and design services across the UK. With over 30 years of experience in highway management within both the public and private sectors, Martin previously served as a Senior Project Manager at Skanska, managing maintenance and improvement schemes on the East Anglian motorway and trunk road network. They have also held key roles at Suffolk County Council, Owen Williams Consultants, and Atkins, contributing significantly to asset management, project delivery, and team mentorship. Martin holds an HNC in Civil Engineering and achieved Chartered Engineer status through the CIHT in 2005.
