Arjan Haverhals

Arjan Haverhals has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Arjan is currently the President of Milestone Scientific Inc., where they are responsible for advancing the science of computer-controlled drug delivery systems. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Sales at Xcentric Mold & Engineering.

From 2011 to 2018, Haverhals worked at Straumann in multiple roles. As the Vice President of Customer Marketing & Education North America, they increased revenue contribution from 23% to 28% over four years, outperforming the market growth. Arjan also served as the Senior Vice President and Head of the Nordic Region, where they successfully turned around operations and outperformed market growth by +5%.

Before their time at Straumann, they held leadership positions at Institut Straumann AG. Arjan was the Senior Vice President of Global Sales CADCAM, where they established a global sales matrix organization and executed a successful global Digital Solutions Strategy. Arjan also served as the Vice President of the Business Unit Prosthetics, leading top-line revenue and business strategy for global growth.

Haverhals began their career at Elkem ASA as the Vice President of Global Marketing & Sales in the Silicon Division. Arjan also worked at Cresco Ti Systems Sàrl as the Executive Vice President of Marketing & Sales and at Nycomed Imaging AS, Branch Office as the Director of Business Development.

Arjan Haverhals began their education by completing a Programme for Executive Development at IMD in the year 2000-2001. Prior to that, they attended Utrecht University from 1986 to 1988, where they earned a degree in Pharmacy. Before their time at Utrecht University, Haverhals pursued their undergraduate studies at Leiden University from 1980 to 1986 and received a Master's degree in Pharmacy. Additionally, they participated in various professional development programs such as Analyzing your competitors, Communication & presentation skills, and Marketing Pharmaceutical Products at Management Centre Europe in Brussels, Belgium. Haverhals also completed an International Management Program at Hafslund Nycomed in Oslo, Norway. The specific years for these programs are not provided.
