Oliver Heinen

Oliver Heinen, PhD has a diverse and accomplished work experience spanning various industries. Oliver began their career as a Scientist and Physicist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technologies and later at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs Innovations. Oliver'sresearch focused on fundamental casting processes for efficient design of new materials. Oliver then joined the German Aerospace Center as a Scientist/Physicist, where they conducted experiments using particle accelerators and nuclear reactor research facilities, as well as parabolic flights aboard the European Space Agency's Zero-G aircraft. Oliver also developed software for experimental steering and data acquisition, as well as computer simulations.

Following their scientific work, Oliver transitioned into the consulting industry and joined The Boston Consulting Group as a Senior Top Management Consultant. Oliver provided strategic advice to top-level management.

Oliver then moved on to T-Systems North America, where they held multiple roles. As the Vice President of Solutions & Projects for the Americas & APAC region, they played a critical role in driving business growth and managing client relationships. Oliver also served as the Head of Deal Quality Assurance and Senior Manager of Strategic Programs.

Most recently, Oliver joined Milestone Technologies, Inc. as the Vice President of Strategic Planning. In this role, they led important customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. Oliver also headed the Service Excellence team, focusing on improving customer delivery and providing training in ITIL and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Oliver was responsible for financial reporting and forecasting for a significant portion of the business.

Oliver Heinen, PhD, obtained their Master's degree/German Diploma in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from RWTH Aachen University, where they studied from 1996 to 2002. Oliver later pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)/German Dr. rer nat in Physics at Ruhr University Bochum from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including "Scrum: The Basics," "Advanced Python," "Learning Personal Branding," and "Writing to Be Heard on LinkedIn" from LinkedIn.
