Director Of Construction Services at MILHAUS

Chris Haskett is an experienced professional in the field of construction and architecture. Chris currently holds the position of Director of Construction Services at Milhaus, where they lead the owner's representation efforts and manages internal team interactions with General Contractor teams. Chris is responsible for coordinating and executing the administration of contracts and purchase orders, ensuring quality development within budget and schedule. Prior to joining Milhaus, Chris was the Director of Construction Administration at The Garrett Co, where they established and grew the Construction Administration Department, overseeing multiple projects across different states. Before that, they worked as a Preconstruction & Construction Specialist at First Construction Consulting, Inc., where they conducted document reviews for various construction loan lenders and monitored ongoing construction projects. Chris also has experience as a Project Manager at Browning Day and Woollen, Molzan and Partners, and as a Designer at Rowland Design. Chris started their career as a Graduate Architect at Halstead Architects and Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf Architects. Throughout their career, Chris has managed a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and educational facilities.

Chris Haskett, CSI, CDT has a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. During their undergraduate studies, they also attended the Ecole nationale supérieure d'architecture de Versailles from 1998 to 1999, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution. Prior to their university education, Chris attended Carmel High School from 1993 to 1996.

In addition to their academic achievements, Chris holds various certifications. Chris obtained the Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification from the Construction Specifications Institute in March 2007. Chris also obtained several Procore certifications, including Procore Certified: Project Manager (Quality & Safety), Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools), and Procore Certified: Project Manager (Project Management) in August and October 2020. Furthermore, they hold the LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, which they obtained in July 2012. Most recently, Chris obtained certifications in Heartsaver CPR & AED from the American Heart Association in June 2022, and the 10-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in October 2022.
