Erwin Alzate Suarez

Erwin Alzate Suarez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2011, Erwin worked as a trainee at FondoSura before moving on to roles such as administrative director at Target Medios SAS, financial service consultant at LIMA ltda, and financial control manager at Handicap International. In 2017, Erwin transitioned to freelance work as a finance consultant. In 2019, Erwin joined Koen Pack B.V. as the financial director for South America, where they led the financial process and managed a finance team. Erwin then worked as a finance lead at SumUp from 2021 to 2023 before becoming the global head of finance at Milio (YC W23) in 2023. Throughout their career, Erwin has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budget planning and execution, cashflow management, relationship with banks, SOX, and inventory management.

Erwin Alzate Suarez has a diverse education history. Erwin started by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Administración y gestión de empresas, general from Universidad EAFIT, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. Later, they furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Economics at the same institution from 2016 to 2018. In addition to these degrees, Erwin Alzate Suarez also obtained a certification in DIPLOMADO EN GERENCIA FINANCIERA from Universidad EAFIT in August 2020.
