Ashley Lawrence, MPA, is a skilled professional with extensive experience in hazard mitigation and disaster resiliency. Currently serving as the Hazard Mitigation Monitoring & Closeout Specialist at the Washington Emergency Management Division since February 2020, Ashley oversees the Hazard Mitigation Program's budgeting, contract development, and process optimization. Previously, as the Disaster Resiliency Coordinator at East Arkansas Planning & Development District, Ashley engaged with stakeholders to enhance community resilience and coordinated mitigation projects. Ashley holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Louisiana Monroe, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, along with ongoing education in Business Management.
