David Apt

David Apt currently serves as the Legislative Affairs Lead for the Clearwater Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) since January 2018, following a term as Chairman of the Board of Directors for K9 Partners for Patriots from December 2018 to January 2022. Previously, David Apt held the position of Past Chapter President for the Clearwater Chapter of MOAA from October 2015 to December 2018. David Apt's extensive experience in communications and public affairs includes serving as Vice President of Communications at Northrop Grumman Technical Services and as a Manager in Business Development and Field Marketing at Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems. Significant military roles include Commanding the Army Broadcasting Service and serving as Chief of Public Affairs for HQ, US Army Forces Command during Operation Iraqi Freedom I. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, a Master of Arts in Communications from Temple University, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
