Syver Petersen

Syver Petersen's work experience includes:

- Remote Sensing Engineer at the Norwegian Environment Agency since January 2023.

- Co-Founder of Applied Geotechnological Solutions (AGT) since February 2022.

- GIS Analysis Intern at Climate Farmers from August 2021 to March 2022.

- UN Volunteer at UNDP Sudan from August 2021 to January 2022.

- UN Volunteer at UNDP, SIDS from August 2021 to September 2021.

- Trainee at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from February 2019 to August 2019, where they were involved in report writing, assisting management of international development programs, and external communications.

- Communications Assistant at the University of Agder (UiA) from October 2016 to January 2017, responsible for public speaking and student recruitment.

- Project Coordinator at Redningsselskapet (Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue) from March 2014 to January 2015, where they served as the main coordinator for the "RS UNG" youth organization and were involved in external communications.

Syver Petersen completed a MSc in Geospatial Technologies with a focus on Geomatics/ Geospatial Information Science from the University of Münster/ NOVA Lisbon, from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they obtained a Master's degree in International Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam, from 2019 to 2020. Syver'sundergraduate education was at the University of Agder (UiA), where they completed a Bachelor's degree in International Development Studies from 2015 to 2018.
