Tanya Hevrøy

Tanya Hevrøy has extensive experience in various roles, starting with their current position as Chief Engineer at the Norwegian Environment Agency since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher at the Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority from February 2015 to April 2023. Tanya also served as a Laboratory Demonstrator and Tutor at The University of Western Australia from August 2010 to July 2013. Tanya gained experience as an Environmental Consultant at Dempster LPS from September 2011 to October 2012. Additionally, Tanya worked as a Mobile Assistant Nurse at Marmion Veterinary Centre from September 2007 to February 2009.

Tanya Hevrøy completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Conservation Biology from The University of Western Australia between 2006 and 2009. Tanya then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Genetics at the same institution, from 2010 to 2014.
