Henrik Hagen Olesen

Henrik Hagen Olesen is a seasoned environmental consultant with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the Danish government's environmental agencies. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Miljøstyrelsen since March 2022, Henrik has previously held positions such as Head of Water Supply Division at the Ministry of Environment and Food, Minister Counsellor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, and Chief of Staff at the National Environmental Protection Agency, among others. Notable contributions include strategic policy development and international coordination in water supply, pesticides, and chemical regulations. Henrik has also served as the CEO of a tech start-up focused on timber measurement and logistics. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Forestry and Natural Resource Management and a post-graduate degree in Land Use Mapping and Remote Sensing from the University of Copenhagen.
