Trine Bergholtz Friis is an experienced international project leader currently employed at Miljøstyrelsen since June 2018, managing environmental collaborations between Denmark and China. Previously, Trine held positions as a consultant with the Danish National Focal Point and was a member of the Skovrådet at the Ministry of Environment and Food, providing expert advice on forestry matters. Trine has substantial experience in political consulting and advocacy, including roles at Friluftsrådet and Danmarks Jægerforbund, focusing on environmental legislation and policymaking. Notably, Trine chaired the ESCO Reference Group for Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishery at the European Commission. Educational qualifications include a graduate diploma in business administration from Copenhagen Business School and a Master's degree in Biology and Mathematics from the University of Copenhagen.
