Kenny Harris

Director of Business Development at Milk Moovement

Kenny Harris has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies.

Kenny started their career as an Advanced Sailing Instructor at the Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club in 2011, where they instructed sailors, coached the RNYC Race Team, and represented the club at various sailing events until 2016.

Kenny then worked as a Marketing and Communications Intern at the Registered Nurses Union of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2017. In this role, they managed communications, maintained the website, and designed advertising and public relations material.

Later in 2017, Kenny joined Memorial University of Newfoundland as a Strategic Communications Consultant in the Office of the CIO. Kenny designed and wrote communications plans, liaised with students to improve technology initiatives, and helped design surveys to assess student technological experience. Kenny worked in this role until 2018.

In 2018, Kenny co-founded Payperplane Aviation Ltd. and served as the CEO until 2019, overseeing the company's operations.

Kenny then worked at Stingray as an Account Executive and Manager of Business Development from 2019 to 2020.

In 2020, Kenny joined Mysa Smart Thermostats in a Business Development role and worked there until the end of the year.

Kenny also co-founded and served as the CEO of Nextcheck from 2020 to 2021.

Currently, Kenny holds the position of Director of Business Development at Milk Moovement since 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Manager of Business Development at the same company and played a key role in leading the North American GTM team, resulting in a 15% market share in the USA in under 12 months. Kenny was also the first Sales & Marketing hire at Milk Moovement.

Kenny Harris obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Their education was from 2013 to 2018. In addition, they also acquired a certification as a CANSAIL Sailing Instructor from CAN SAIL in June 2011.
