Kristin Hathorn

Kristin Hathorn has a diverse range of work experience. Kristin most recently served as the Chief of Staff at Milk Stork starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at ColoWrap from September 2019 to December 2022, where they held the positions of Chief of Staff and Interim Chief Operations Officer. From August 2015 to April 2019, they were the Executive Director at Playworks. Kristin also worked as the Policy and Strategic Development Director at Parents for Educational Freedom of North Carolina from October 2013 to August 2014. Kristin Hathorn gained experience in the development field at Duke University, where they worked as the Stewardship Coordinator, Major Giving Societies from June 2012 to October 2013, and as the Development Assistant, Office of Major Gifts, Special Projects and Initiatives from November 2011 to June 2012. Kristin began their career at the Jared Polis Foundation, where they held various roles, including Special Projects Coordinator from January 2007 to June 2011 and Teacher Recognition Awards Coordinator from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they worked as a Policy and Research Associate at the Center for Policy Entrepreneurship from January 2008 to September 2008, and as a Policy and Research Fellow at the Office of Jared Polis from January 2006 to December 2007.

Kristin later pursued a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Denver and obtained their degree in 2010.
