Brittany Aliota has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brittany started their career as a Student Loan Officer and Need Analysis Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they analyzed student and parent tax information and processed financial aid documents. Brittany then transitioned to the corporate world, working as an Inventory Planner for the Tools Department at True Value Company. In this role, they managed inventory for multiple warehouses, collaborated with product merchants, and built relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Brittany then joined Levi Strauss & Co. as a Planner for Dockers.com in the European market. Following that, they worked at SEPHORA as a Merchandise Planner, responsible for managing inventory and planning sales for high-growth categories on Sephora.com. Brittany collaborated with merchants on assortment strategies, forecasted sales and inventory, and worked closely with cross-functional teams.
After SEPHORA, Brittany joined Gap as a Senior Merchandise Planner, where they continued to utilize their planning and forecasting skills. Currently, they hold a leadership position at Milk Makeup as the VP of Planning & Analytics, responsible for overseeing planning and analytics functions. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director of Demand & Merchandise Planning and Director of Demand and Merchandise Planning at Milk Makeup.
Throughout their career, Brittany has demonstrated strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Brittany has experience in inventory management, financial forecasting, and strategic planning, making their a valuable asset in the retail and beauty industries.
Brittany Aliota began their education at the University of Arizona in 2007, where they studied pre-business and Spanish. Brittany then transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2008 and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Spanish. In 2009, Brittany switched to the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with a math emphasis option. Additionally, they attended the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy in 2011 to study the Italian fashion industry.
