Daniel Spiegel

Daniel Spiegel is the current Associate Head of School, External Relations at Milken Community School. Prior to their current position, they served as the Director of Advancement at Sinai Akiba Academy from July 2016 to July 2019 and as the Associate Athletic Director of Development at California State University, Northridge from August 2015 to June 2016.

Spiegel began their career in athletics administration at Columbia University in August 2005, where they served as the Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Promotions. In this role, they were responsible for creating and implementing the Sports Marketing Plan for the University, developing promotional and advertising plans to increase fan engagement and support for the Department brand, and coordinating and leading the Office of Sports Marketing internship program and spirit group coaches. Spiegel also created and managed the sports marketing operating budget and ticket revenue forecast, setting attendance and revenue records - growth that significantly outpaces competitors.

Daniel Spiegel began their educational career by obtaining a BA in Mass Communications from University of California, Berkeley. Daniel then furthered their education by obtaining an MS in Sports Business from New York University.

Daniel Spiegel reports to Sarah Shulkind, Head of School. They are on a team with Limor Dankner - Associate Head of School for Academic Affairs & Strategic Initiatives, Tal Barak - Director of Communications & Public Relations, and Joe Arredondo - Director of Information Technology.
