Robin Downing has a comprehensive work experience in human resources and has held various positions throughout their career. Robin started as a Staffing Temp at Cray Research in 1991 and later worked as a Human Resources Specialist at General Mills from 1994 to 2004. At General Mills, they provided HR support, counseled employees, and coordinated HR processes. Robin then worked as a Regional Human Resources Coordinator at Guy Carpenter & Co., LLC from 2004 to 2009, where they sourced and interviewed candidates, coached management and employees, and led global initiatives. Robin then joined Medica in 2009 as a Human Resources professional before moving to General Mills as a Human Resources Assistant - Supply Chain in 2010. In the same year, they became the VP of Human Resources at Mill City Credit Union (previously General Mills Federal Credit Union), where they played a key role in the institution's growth and served a diverse customer base. In 2019, they continued their career progression as the VP of Human Resources at City & County Credit Union.
Robin Downing attended Wausau West High from 1984 to 1988. Robin then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Stout from 1990 to 1994.
