Before entering the renewable energy industry, they served in the United States Air Force from 2008 to May 2015, holding roles as a Construction Manager and Construction Manager/Inspector. Colby obtained an Associate of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technologies from the Community College of the Air Force in 2013.
