Sharma Rao

Sharma Rao is a Senior Principal at Mill Rock Capital Management LP, a private investment firm specializing in middle market businesses, since July 2018. Prior to this role, Sharma held various leadership positions at Arconic, including VP of Metals & Strategy and Director of Mill Products Procurement, and directed purchasing at Firth Rixson before its acquisition by Alcoa. Additional experience includes strategic sourcing at GE Aviation and commodity management at Rolls-Royce. Sharma Rao holds a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from KREC, Surathkal. Currently, Sharma serves on the board of VENTURE METALS INTERNATIONAL, a global scrap processing company.
